What is Live Wedding Painting?
Live Wedding Painting is an elegant and bespoke addition to a wedding day. It is a service in which an artist paints a moment fom your wedding in real-time.It is a great source of entertainment for your guests, and leaves you with a unique piece of original artwork of one of the most secial days o your life.
Can I choose which moment I want painted?
Absolutely! Prior to the big day, we will discuss the special moment that you are wanting painted and the orientation of the piece.
How long do you paint on the wedding day?
This entirely depends upon your day and your preference. 3 hours is my minimum as this allows me to get all the foundation work onto the canvas, and will give you and your guests an idea of what the final piece will look lie.
I offer extended live painting packages for couples who would like to see the depth and detail go into their piece.
What supplies do you bring?
I bring all the supplies needed, this includes the canvas, easel, brushes, and paint.
Please note: if you are wanting me to paint during the Reception, I will require access to power for my lights.
For my larger packages, I will require a chair as these included extended painting hours on the wedding day.
What if it is raining on the wedding day?
Prior to the big day, we will chat about alternatives for if it rains. I am happy to set up under shelter or indoors. Alternatively, we can change the timing of the live painting to suit a part of the day where the celebrations are held inside of under shelter (ie. the Reception).
If none of the above is suitable, i am happy to discuss the alternative of painting your piece form the studio based on a photo you had taken on the day.
Can I have special details included (ie. a pet or our cake)?
I am more than happy to include this! A wedding painting is such a unique keepsake of your day, so adding in any details that are special to you just makes the painting even more personable.
It is important to mention any specific requirements/inclusions/personal touches that you want to include prior to the wedding day.
Can I book your Live Painting service as a gift for the couple?
Absolutely! My painting services ave been gifted to multiple couples in the past, and it is always such a beautiful sentiment! You are purchasing them a piece of original art to start of their married life with!
Can you travel for a wedding?
Yes! More than happy to do this!
